Job description
We are a data warehousing solutions team and we are looking for a Microsoft SQL Server DBA. We are ingesting data from many source systems into a Microsoft SQL Server database. Within the SQL Server database there are views created that are serving analytics dashboards written in Spotfire. Tables can have tens of GB, and a couple tables even hundreds of GB. We are currently running into performance issues with slow query times. And in the near to mid-term future we are looking to migrate the current setup to a cloud infrastructure.

Skills
We are therefore looking for someone that is able to help and have experience with:
Working with very large SQL Server databases
Optimization of database schemas, views, and indexes
Diagnosing performance issues, and implementing effective solutions
Implementation and auditing of database security and encryption (nice to have)
SSIS (nice to have)
